So, the end is near! I had another doctor's appointment today. I was not getting my hopes up for much progress, since I have not been dilated at any appointments thus far. She checked me, and to my surprise I am 2.5 cm!!! That is alot of progress in just one week. She said that she could feel his head, and he had moved down in my pelvis. She also said he is STILL growing. I am scared I am going to have a huge baby. She stripped my membranes, which is stripping the amniotic membrane away from the cervix to bring on labor. There is not a guarantee it will work, but it is worth a try. So far, I still feel the same. If Baby T does not decide to come sooner, I am scheduled for an induction on Wednesday, January 7 @ 5:30 AM. I was still hoping to have a 2008 baby, but at least I have a for sure date I will be holding my little man in my arms:) Now, it is just a waiting game. I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year's!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
We are getting ready for my favorite holiday! I love Christmas time, but this Christmas I am anxious for the arrival of our son. Maybe, he WILL be my Christmas present?:) I went to the doctor today, and I must say I was alittle disappointed. I am 80-90% effaced and thin, but NOT dilated! My doctor said that everyone is different, and I might just be one of those people that doesn't dilate until right before I go into labor. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I would like it if he just came on his own before the New Year. Right now we are just focusing on spending the holiday with family until our newest family member makes his appearance. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Officially on Maternity Leave!
Okay, so I am 37 weeks and now officially on maternity leave from school until March 23. Yesterday, was the Christmas party at school, and I thought for sure I would have gone into labor after how CRAZY the kids were! When I got home, my feet and back were throbbing. I guess wearing heels was a BAD idea. We had a lot of fun, but I am glad to be on break. My energy is not where it use to be:) I have been walking quite a bit now. This morning, my sister and I took Coy on a walk to the park (2 miles!), and I just got back from taking Coco on a walk. Two walks in one day...That has to do something, right? I have been very sore and having a lot of Braxton Hicks, but nothing regular. We will see if there has been any progress made on Tuesday when I go to the doctor.

36 Weeks 5 Days
Today, I had another doctor's appointment. Dr. Luethcke did a weight estimate and thinks Baby T weighs in the low 7 pounds right now. She think he will be in the high 7s when he is born. I was excited to hear that he WASN'T going to be a 10 pounder:) He is still in the head down position, so that is a plus. He is moving around quite a bit because when she went to listen to his heart beat, he flipped to the other side. She checked me, and my cervix is starting to efface and soften, but I am not dilated. I was hoping for more, but I will take any progress that I can get.:) I go back next Tuesday for another appointment. Here is another pic of the belly...

Doctor's Appointment- 35 weeks 5 Days
Yesterday, I had another doctor's appointment. Dr. Luethcke felt my belly, and Baby T has now turned! He is head down. 2 weeks ago, he was head up, and I was scared he might not change. She said that he was down in my pelvis, but I had not dilated yet. I was thinking that I might be dilated, but I guess I need to be patient and let Baby T come when he is ready. I am just getting really anxious for him to come. I go back on Wednesday... hopefully by then, something will have changed:)! Here is a picture of my ever expanding belly.

Almost Ready...
We are almost ready to welcome Baby T into the world.
Here are the things we have complete:

- furniture is assembled
- clothes are washed and put away
- diapers and wipes bought
- stroller assembled

I am sure when he does finally arrive, there will be many more things that we did not even think of. Chase and I are both really excited for our baby boy. I cannot wait to finally meet him. Here are a few pictures of the nursery.
