The Best Halloween Yet!

Colby had an absolute blast this Halloween! He actually got the hang of trick or treating. He kept saying, "knock door, candy, bucket, thank you!" We have a Halloween book that we have been reading for weeks now in preparation, so maybe that helped:) He did however consume entirely too much sugar and had a hard time going to bed, but it was HALLOWEEN... you HAVE to consume too much candy! Enjoy the pics...

Hanging out with the cousins before the festivities started.

Practicing his boxing skills on Tess.

and then on Uncle Matt!

Pumpkin Carving and Funny Things Colby Says!

This week we carved pumpkins! Colby loves to say pumpkin and now wants to hold the pumpkins that we carved all the time. He was not a big fan of sticking his hands inside the pumpkin to get all the guts out... as you can see in the pics:)

Watching daddy cut open the pumpkin!

Daddy making him put his hands in it...

And Colby was NOT happy about that!

He liked it much better when he could use the spoon.

He loves to take off the top and look inside.
Cheesing with his pumpkin!
And I got another cheese picture!

Grey is getting to be such a big boy! Look at him holding his head up!

So sweet:)

Handsome!
Colby makes us laugh so much! He is becoming quite the comedian... I wonder where he got that from??? I wanted to write down some of the funny things he says, just so I could remember:)
-The other night, Coco was barking alot, so I told Colby that Coco was being a bad dog. He looks at her, points and says "Time out Toto!"
-Now, he also puts his school bus and tractor in time out. He puts them on the entertainment center, and says "ool bus, time out" or " tractor, time out!"
-When Grey farts, Colby laughs and says, "Brother poo-poo."
-When he smiles, he says "Big cheese!"
-He also points to things that he is not suppose to touch and say, "Big no no!" (but that doesn't always stop him!)
-He tells himself no. He says "Olby, no no!" With a serious look on his face!
There are so many more, but I can't think of them all right now. He has one BIG personality!

Dewberry Farm!

Today, we took the boys to Dewberry Farm! It was a blast! I was not very successful in getting good pumpkin patch pictures though:( Getting Colby to look at the camera and stay still, was pretty much impossible! I can't wait to go back next year!

Giant Roller Slide!

Playing in the hay!

Corn Train!

All my boys on the Tractor Ride!

Grey enjoyed the tractor ride!

3 Months Old!

Grey is 3 months old! I meant to write on his actual 3 month birthday (last Friday), but I have been busy:) At 3 months old, Grey...
-sleeps about 10 hours straight at night
-naps about 4 times a day
-still does not love his carseat, but has gotten better about it
-LOVES to be held
-coos and smiles :)
-sucks on his hands
-starting to like his paci!
-weighs about 13 lbs. and is SUPER long
-wears 1-2 diapers, and 3-6 month clothes. If it is a one piece outfit, he wears 6 months because he is so long!
Overall, Grey is a very sweet baby! Colby is a good big brother as well. When Grey is crying, Colby will try to give him his paci or pat him. It very cute! Colby also loves to give Grey kisses and hugs. Here are a few pics from the week...

Giving Grey a hug, or laying on him?

Kisses!

He ROLLED over!

Grey is 13 weeks old today, 3 months tomorrow! Last night Grey started crying, so I went in to check on him. To my surprise he was on his back (he sleeps on his belly), which means he rolled over for the first time! He also laughed for the first time yesterday. SO cute! It will be my mission to capture both the rolling over and laughing on video. Stay tuned....

A 21 Month Old and a 12 Week Old!

Yesterday, Colby turned 21 months, and today Grey is 12 weeks old! Where is the pause button when you need it??? Colby is VERY active and VERY talkative these days. If he is not sleeping, he is in constant motion and conversation. He literally has conversations with himself! He loves to point out everything he knows. At the moment, we are obsessed with school busses, airplanes, tractors, big trucks, and trains. Before I even go into to get him in the mornings, I can hear him talking in the monitor. Too cute! He is becoming one smart boy, so we really have to be careful what we say and do around him! Grey has become my little smiley bear. Don't get me wrong, he still lets us know when he is not happy... which is usually anywhere, but your arms. He is not a fan of his carseat or the stroller still, but loves the front carrier. I now have him on a set feeding and sleeping schedule. That makes it a lot easier to get out and do things because I can plan it around his feedings. He usually wakes up around 7-7:30 every morning to eat. After that he eats at 11, 2, 5, 8, and I have been doing a dreamfeed at 10 (trying to phase this out.) His naps are at 9, 12:30, 3:30, and 6:30. I bathe him when he wakes up around 7:30-7:45. I can't wait until I can start to bathe Colby and Grey together! Then he is usually alseep for the night by 8:30! Here are a few pictures of my handsome boys this week...

Look at that swing!

Love, love, love this face!

We have found our hands!

Melts my heart:)
