I can't get over how much the boys look alike. I had a dream while I was pregnant, that Grey looked exactly like Colby, but with dark hair! Here is a comparison of pics...

Grey is 2 weeks old!

Today, Grey turns 2 weeks old. I can't even believe it has been 2 weeks. We went to the doctor for his check-up, so here are his stats...
Weight- 8lb. 1.5oz (25%)
Length- 22in. (90%)
Head- 14.25in. (25%)

The past 2 nights Grey has not wanted to go to sleep before midnight, but then he gives us a 5 hour stretch of sleep! Other than that, he usually wakes up every 3 hours to eat. We are still working on the nursing thing, and I am hoping he gets the hang of it soon! Colby still loves to give Grey kisses. I know in the future, they are going to be the best of friends!

Grey's Newborn Photos (6 days old)

My sister took Grey's newborn photos yesterday. I am so excited how they turned out! Enjoy!

Dr. Appointment and Adjustment

Grey had his first doctor's appointment today. When we left the hospital, he had dropped down to 7lb. 7oz. (which is completely normal), but today at his doctor's appointment (5 days old) he was already back to his birth weight! The kid loves to eat, just like his big brother. Here are his stats for today...

Weight- 7lbs. 14.5oz. (25-50%)
Length- 22in. (97%)
FOC- 14in. (25-50%)

We are still going through an adjustment period with Colby. He loves his little brother, but is definitely acting out more. He has been even MORE active than his normal self... climbing, jumping, hitting, throwing. I know he is just looking for more attention and it will take time to adjust for him. I am hoping that will be sooner rather than later. I feel very blessed to be the mother of two precious boys!

We are so excited to announce the birth of our second son, Cason "Grey" Taylor.

I had an amazingly easy labor and delivery. I went into the hospital at 6 that morning, and at 10:57AM our little guy was born. He looks just like his big brother as a baby, but has dark hair. We are home and adjusting well to having 2 BOYS! Big brother, Colby, loves to give kisses to Grey. Here are a few pics from the hospital...

Now we just need a baby! There are still a few things that we haven't put up because they reveal the name, but for the most part the nursery is complete!
