Doing Push-ups!

Colby has been so much fun this week! He really is scooting everywhere now. He also just started bear crawling. It looks like he is doing push-ups. So funny! He also has started rocking back and forth on his hands and knees. It should not be too long before he is crawling!!! He also has two teeth, so I started giving him Gerber Puffs. He loves them:) He continues to eat all the fruits and vegetables too. He can't get enough of his food, so I am anticipating very big grocery bills in no time. New Camera!

Chase and Colby got me a new camera for my birthday. I am still trying to learn how to use it, but here is what I have so far....:)

It's official...

Colby has cut his first tooth. Poor guy has been alittle fussy, so I decided to stick my finger in his mouth to see if I could feel anything and sure enough, he had a sharp tooth cutting through his gums. I know this is only the beginning of his teething phase... let's just hope it passes quickly:) We have also made our way through most all of the fruits. I still haven't found anything this kid doesn't like. I gave him Gerber Puffs today for the first time, and he loved those as well. Here are a few pictures of the past week...

Happy 7 Months Old!

Today, Colby turned 7 months old! He is growing and growing... WAY too fast! He is constantly babbling "da-da" and singing, now we just have to work on "ma-ma." He also has begun scooting backwards. He sees a toy that he wants and starts to scoot, but backwards... so of course he gets frustrated that he is moving further away from the toy. So cute. He now weighs about 16 pounds and is about 30 inches long. Here are a few pictures from the day...

Where did that come from?

I have no idea where he got it from, but Colby started to fake cough this weekend. He just started to cough and then look at me and smile. I kept asking him... where did that come from? I think he thinks it is funny that he can make a new sound. Whenever someone does it back to him, he repeats it again. He gets so proud of himself. It is the cutest little thing.
Eating is going great! I don't think he is going to be a picky eater like his mommy and daddy. He already eats more fruits and vegetables than me. He got his first taste of fruit on Sunday, and of course loved it. He now eats: peas, carrots, green beans, sweet peas, squash, sweet potatoes, and pears.
