Bowen is 8 Months!

Weight- about 16 lbs 

Length- about 28in

Clothes- 9 months 

Diapers- size 3

Sleep- sleeps in his own room in the crib. If he does wake up, he goes right back to bed with a paci. His bed time is about 7:30 and he sleeps til about 6:30. 

Eat- nurses for about 10 min every 4 hours. Eats baby food for lunch and dinner. He loves all his fruits, vegetables, and meats. Also started feeding him Gerber puffs and Cheerios. He loves both of them!  

Naps- around 9:30, 12:30, 3:30. He sleeps about 1- 1 1/2 hour each time. 

Likes- baths,outside, , sitting up, being held, jumper, walker, big brothers

Dislikes- being hungry, to be startled 

Milestones- starting to scoot, but not crawling yet. 

Teeth- 6 (3 bottom and 3 top)

Happy 7 Months

Weight- about 15 lbs

Sleep- sleeps in his own room in the crib. If he does wake up, he goes right back to bed with a paci. His bed time is about 7:30 and he sleeps til about 6:30 since the time change:/.  

Eat- nurses for about 10 min every 3-4 hours. Eats baby food at night. He loves all his fruits and vegetables. I haven't tried feeding him meats yet, but those will come soon. 

Naps- around 9:30, 12:30, 3:30. He sleeps about 1- 1 1/2 hour each time. 

Likes- baths, swing, nap nanny, bouncer, outside, car rides, sitting in Bumbo, being held, jumper, his new walker (even though he can't touch the ground yet), big brothers

Dislikes- being hungry, to be startled 

Milestones- sitting up 

Teeth- 2 bottom and 2 top, but working in the 3rd top one now. 

Bowen's 6 Month Appointment

Height- 27" (60%)

Weight- 14lb 6oz (3%)

He's on the small side, but so were his brothers. We will go back in a month ft a weight check.

First baby food feeding

Yesterday, Bowen had his first baby food. I started him on green beans. He liked it until about the 4th bite. Then he decided it was NOT good. He started gagging. It was pretty funny. 

Today, we tried again with the green beans.  He polished off the entire jar of green beans and wanted more. Hopefully, he will like all his vegetables, unlike his brothers😃

We now have Teeth

We now have two bottom teeth. It was a rough couple of nights while they were breaking through, but our little guy is back to his happy self.

1st Day of School 2013

Family Vacation 2013

We decided to take a beach family vacation this year. Chase and I stayed at this cute each community in Florida last year when he went to coach a baseball tournament, so we knew it was perfect for us. We rented a house that was really close to the beach and had its own pool. It turned out to be a perfect, relaxing, fun vacation for our little family of 5. We are already talking about going back again next year. 

Happy 4 Months baby boy

Weight- 13lb 10oz (13%)

Length- 26.5" (92%)

Clothes- 3 months and 3/6 months in sleepers, but outgrowing quickly

Diaper size- size 1 

Sleep- sleeps in his own room in the crib. He longer longer is eating in the middle of the night!  If he does wake up, he goes right back to bed with a paci. His bed time is about 8, and he sleeps til about 7:30. 

Eat- nurses for about 20 min every 3 hours

Naps- every 3 hours in the crib. His naps are still varied in length, but they do seem to be getting longer. 

Likes- baths, swing, nap nanny, bouncer, outside, car rides, sitting in Bumbo

Dislikes- being hungry, to be startled 

Milestones- rolled over, belly to back for the first time 2 weeks ago

Weight- about 12lbs

Length- about 23in

Clothes- 3 months and 3/6 months in sleepers

Diaper size- size 1 

Sleep- sleeps in his own room in the crib, but still up at least once a night. If we are lucky, he makes it until 5am

Eat- nurses for about 20 min every 3 hours

Naps- every 3 hours in the crib usually only for about 45 mins each. Following the eat/ wake/ sleep schedule 

Likes- baths, swing, nap nanny, bouncer, outside, car rides

Dislikes- being hungry, sometimes not being held, being cold, to be startled
