Today Colby had his 9 month check up. He is really 9 1/2 months, but the doctor had to reschedule his last appointment. Colby had a vision test, which was very high tech and measured brain wave activity... probably not necessary, but we did it. He passed that with flying colors! He also had to get his blood levels checked, so he got his finger pricked and a vile of blood drawn. He was a champ and sat on mommy's lap relaxed the whole time. He also had 2 shots... one being the flu, hopefully that will prevent him from getting it this flu season. Overall, Colby did excellent! The doctor said I can start feeding him more finger foods since he has 6 teeth. We are definitely going to start exploring more in the food world! :) Colby is getting around the house and into everything these days. He loves the door stoppers, so I super glued the rubber part to all of the door stoppers in the house. I wonder how long that will last? He loves to clap and wave bye bye. He can now get into sitting position from his tummy. Everyday he gets more mature.
Here are the stats from the visit:
Weight- 17lbs. 14 oz. (10-25%)
Height- 28.5 in. (50-75%) Which is probably not correct because he was that same height at his 6 month appointment.
Head- 17.25 in. (10-25%)
